Over $240,000 in valuables, including Rolex and Omega watches, stolen in a burglary from Wong Chuk Wan house

A burglary occurred in Wong Chuk Wan, Sai Kung at around 10:00pm last night (26/9). A 51-year-old man discovered that the terrace door of his village house in Wong Chuk Wan, Sai Sha Road, had been pried open and there were signs of a search inside the house. Suspecting that the house had been burgled, he reported it to the police.

After preliminary counting, police attending the scene believed that three watches with a total value of about HK$240,000 and about HK$7,000 in cash were stolen from the address. After preliminary investigation, the case was classified as “burglary” and handed over to the third team of the Wong Tai Sin Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. No one has been arrested yet.

It is understood that the watches involved in the case are two Rolexes and one Omega.
