Drug bust in Sai Kung hotel room nets $440 worth of cannabis

Officers from the Wong Tai Sin Police District Special Duties Squad 1 conducted an anti-drug operation in Sai Kung at around 9:00 pm last night (29/12) based on intelligence and after in-depth investigation.

During the operation, police raided a hotel room in Sai Kung and arrested a 23-year-old local man on suspicion of “trafficking in dangerous drugs.” The arrested man is currently being detained for investigation. Police seized approximately 2.8 grams of suspected cannabis and four suspected cannabis oil cartridges, with a total value of approximately HK$440.
