Yesterday afternoon (17/3), a traffic accident caused traffic delays on Hiram’s Highway in Sai Kung. Around 2:20 pm a van belonging to DHL logistics company crashed into a lamppost near the Four Seas Group Building. The driver was initially trapped inside the vehicle and suffered a leg injury. He was later taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Online dashcam footage shows the DHL van travelling straight along the road when it suddenly veered right, crossed the opposite lane, and crashed into a lamppost; fortunately, it did not collide head-on with oncoming traffic.
