$110,000 worth of valuables stolen in a burglary at Sai Kung house

A burglary occurred in Sai Kung around 8:00 pm last night (2/5). Police received a report from a 54-year-old woman who found that the window of her detached house on Tai Mong Tsai Road had been pried open and there were signs of ransacking inside, leading to the suspicion that the house had been burgled.

Police officers responded to the scene and, after a preliminary count, believed that 12 watches worth approximately HK$107,000 and jewellery worth approximately HK$6,000 were missing. Following a preliminary investigation, the police classified the case as a burglary and handed it over to the sixth team of the Wong Tai Sin Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. No arrests have been made so far.

It is understood that the watches involved in the case include Cartier, Seiko, Oris, and other brands, while the jewelry involved consists of two necklaces.
