House on Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung burgled: over HK$80,000 stolen

A burglary occurred in Sai Kung around 8:00 pm last night (28/5). The resident, a 42-year-old woman, discovered that the garden door of her village house on Tai Mong Tsai Road had been pried open, and there were signs of ransacking inside the house. Some valuables were missing, and she suspected that she had been burgled, so she reported the incident to the police.

After a preliminary count by police, they believed that a brooch worth about HK$85,000 and an electronic device worth about HK$250 were missing.

After preliminary investigation, the case was classified as a burglary and handed over to the fourth team of the Wong Tai Sin Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up. They are currently searching for two men who are about 1.65 to 1.75 metres tall and of medium build.

It is understood that the buckle involved in the case is from Cartier, while the electronic equipment in the case is a Xiaomi CCTV camera.
