Pak Shek Wo Village, Sai Kung
Last evening (24/6), around 7:00 pm, police received a report from a villager in Pak Shek Wo Village, Tseng Lan Shue, Sai Kung, that a large snake had been found and was suspected of swallowing one of their goats as it had a distended abdomen. Officers arrived at the scene and, together with the villager, managed to put the approximately 3-meter-long python into a snake bag.
The python involved was taken to Tseung Kwan O Police Station. If it is found to be uninjured after examination, it will be released back into the wild. However, first, they have to ascertain whether the snake actually swallowed a goat!
