This morning (6/8) at around 9:30 am, a car was travelling along Tai Mong Tsai Road towards Pak Tam Chung near Tso Wo Hang, it collided with two cyclists travelling in the opposite direction to Sai Kung town centre.
Video from the scene show one injured person, wearing cycling gear, lying in the middle of the road, being helped by two people (a man and a woman); another injured person is sitting on the roadside awaiting assistance.
In the accident, a 55-year-old man with a back injury was taken by ambulance to Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin; the other person had a hand injury and was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital. The 57-year-old male driver of the car is assisting with the investigation, and police are investigating the cause of the accident.
