Frankie Hollywood and the Tiki Birds headline the cast of VIVA LAS VEGAS, the continuing dinner show every Saturday at Tikitiki Bowling Bar. VIVA LAS VEGAS is a cabaret by Tikitiki’s imported musicians as well as in-house artists. It is themed on the 1964 hit move starring Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret. A different celebrity will bring stardust to each Saturday show. The first, on 4 August, was actor-singer Kelvin Kwan.

“Bright light city gonna set my soul, gonna set my soul on fire… VIVA LAS VEGAS! VIVA LAS VEGAS!”

Tickets, covering all the entertainment as well as all the American food you can eat, cost just $299 for an adult and $99 for a child.

Elvis hits from the movie will be belted out by Frankie Hollywood and the Tiki Birds. They specialise in Elvis songs and his hip-swivelling dance style. Joining in the gyrations will be three girls of the Tikitiki Dance Troupe.

Chef Peter Lim, who has five-star hotel experience, will lay on a huge American buffet with, as examples, Cobb Salad, Potato Salad, Roast Striploin Carvery, Gratinated Potato Skins with Bolognaise, Roasted Honey Chicken, Mixed Berry Mousse Cup and Classic Tiramisu.

The Tikitiki dinner cabaret is designed for the whole family. It starts at 4:00 pm with a range of fun for kids and runs on through Kelvin Kwan’s celebrity appearance then buffet dinner. Following that 1960s music will be hammered out by Frankie Hollywood and the Tiki Birds and blasted through the wall-to-wall Tikitiki sound system and its big synchronised video screens. Children will be entertained by two magicians, a juggler and a clown, all of whom are Tikitiki in-house talent. They include Don Wong, Karl Chan and Keith Ng.

There will also be an Elvis Karaoke Singing Contest, that everyone may join in, with “Secret Prizes”. A workshop will be staged for children teaching them how to make toy slot machines. People who would like to bowl may book a lane for an hour for $299, which allows up to six people to play. The dinner show will conclude at 10:00 pm.

The VIVA LAS VEGAS cabaret will be on show at Tikitiki every Saturday until the last Saturday of September, the 29th. A different celebrity will appear at each show. Produced by Urban Entertainment Ltd’s entertainment management and its in-house artists, the show follows TOKYO BOOGIE NIGHTS, which also ran for two months and attracted about 1000 people.
