Around 9:00 pm last night (2/12), the driver of a car driving along Clear Water Bay Road towards Kowloon lost control as it approached Pik Uk. It hit the barriers and flipped over on to the roof.
Other drivers saw the incident and immediately called, and then assisted, the police. Rescue personnel rushed to the scene and rescued the male driver who reported neck pain. He was treated at the scene and sent to hospital by ambulance.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident. It is reported on social media that someone opined that the accident was caused by avoiding a stray dog.
