Early this morning, a 34-year-old man, camping at the Long Ke Wan Beach in Sai Kung felt ill. According to the police, the victim suddenly became dizzy, vomiting and trembling in the cold weather, and his friends called for help.
The Government Flying Service dispatched a helicopter to the scene around 4:00 am to lift the foreign (sic) male to the Eastern Hospital of Chai Wan. He was still conscious when he was sent to the hospital, but owing to the cold weather and suspected hypothermia they had to wrap his body in foil. He was pronounced sober on arrival.
