Over the Christmas holiday a sad episode was reported from Hoi Ha. A wild boar, seemingly butting a rubbish bin, as is their wont, ended up inside the container when it righted itself after being knocked over.
The design of the bin is such that it was unable to get out, and was found dead the next morning. Local residents are sad at this event and wonder if there is some way to prevent this happening again.
