A 14-year-old boy went missing while swimming off a fish raft near Tai Tau Chau, Sai Kung this afternoon. Police received a report from his family and friends that he was missing around 12:30 pm. Marine police and firemen were dispatched to the scene to carry out a search and rescue. The boy was found, in a coma, around 2:00 pm and was taken to Eastern Hospital for emergency treatment by helicopter.
Sadly he died at 3:37 pm. Police are investigating the incident.
