A traffic accident in Clearwater Bay Road, near the old Shaw Film Studios, this morning left two cars badly damaged and one person in hospital. The crash involved a Tesla and a Lexus, and occurred around 7:22 am. Both cars were driving in the direction of Hang Hau, The female driver of the Lexus was trapped and had to be rescued by firemen; she was taken to hospital.
When the police arrived to investigate the cause of the accident, they found the front of both cars seriously damaged. The police officers later breathalysed the two drivers. The male driver of Tesla was found to be exceeding the limit and was arrested for drunk driving. Police officers took the cars away for further investigation.
