“Anyone can come to RCS events and join, ” Peter said. “The society is all about promoting friendship between people of different backgrounds and cultures.”

Peter listed the RCS events in the last quarter:

  • COMMONWEALTH CRICKET CUP at Kowloon Cricket Club on 22 November, from noon. Six-a-side tournament with teams from India, Pakistan, UK, New Zealand, Sth Africa and Australia. Entrance to see the cricket is free and there will be a cash bar for food and drinks. Later there is a $500 a head poolside dinner, plus a charity auction of cases of wine and other goodies in aid of Epilepsy Awareness.
  • CHRISTMAS PARTY at Helena May on 11 December from 7:00 pm. “This is a very jolly affair,” Peter said. There will be traditional Christmas tucker, mulled wine and Christmas carols led by RCS choral scholar Freddy Tsang.
