A village house in Tso Wo Hang Village, Sai Kung, was forcibly entered on the evening of 12 November and items of jewellery stolen.
The owner and his wife had left for a dinner appointment around 6:00 pm. They checked that all was locked up before they left. On returning around 9:30 pm they noticed that a first floor window was smashed. When they entered the house they saw that the place had been ransacked.
On checking they found that a necklace, ring and watch had been stolen. The incident was reported to the police and the Crime Investigation Team of Wong Tai Sin District is investigating.
