Update on planned protests – 4 January

This update only lists actions that are planned in advance. As we know this is only the tip of the iceberg. The various flash mobs cannot be predicted, so are not listed below. We recommend that you look at some of the online sites for the most up to date information like the English language Facebook page BeWater HK.

Lunchtime protests take place in Central (Chater Garden), Kowloon Bay (CIC Zero Carbon Building, Sheung Yuet Road), Lai Chi Kok & Cheung Sha Wan (Intersection of Cheung Lai Street and Cheung Shun Street), San Po Kong (McDonald’s at Tai Yau Street), and Kwun Tong (InPARK) every lunchtime on weekdays between 12:30 – 3:00 pm.

5 January: 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Walk with you in the New Year. North District Sports Ground, Sheung Shui.

6 January: 12:00  noon. Stuck with You at Revenue Tower. Wan Chai.

12 January: 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Pre-march assembly. Edinburgh Place.

18 January: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Whampoa Lunar New Year Fair. Area next to Hung Hom Pier.

18 January: 6:00 – 11:00 pm. Lunar New Year Fair at Eastern District. Sai Wan Ho.

19 January: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Whampoa Lunar New Year Fair. Area next to Hung Hom Pier.

19 January: 3:00 pm. Universal siege of Communists. Chater Road to SOGO.

19 January: 6:00 – 11:00 pm. Lunar New Year Fair at Eastern District. Sai Wan Ho.
