Police are reporting that on the morning of 25 May a detached house on Chuk Yeung Road, Sai Kung was burgled, and about $125,000 worth of property stolen.
Around 8:00 am the resident householder, a 74-year-old male, noticed that the windows in the house were damaged and there were traces of ransacking. He suspected he had been burgled and called the police. A preliminary investigation showed that items including foreign currency worth about $2,500 and one watch worth about $100,000 were taken. The case was classified as burglary and handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of Wong Tai Sin Police District.
Currently no one has been arrested.
