Three car pile up near Pik Sha Road leaves eight injured

A traffic accident occurred on Clear Water Bay Road near Pik Sha Road in Sai Kung yesterday afternoon (16/5) which left eight people injured.

The incident occurred at 4:00 pm, when a private car driving along Clear Water Bay Road slowed down in response to traffic. Two cars following closely could not stop in time and crashed into the rear of the slowing car.

Many drivers passing the scene called the police. An ambulance arrived and treated eight people from the three cars. They were sent to hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the accident and traffic on the Clear Water Bay Road was blocked for around 30 minutes.
