UPDATED:

BUZZ has been informed that the weapon used probably was not a taser. The location of the attack was also further up Sai Sha Road – the main photo has been changed.

Women have been attacked by a man in a hoodie on two separate occasions near O Tau, Sai Sha Road, Sai Kung. The police have been informed both times. After the latest attack, yesterday (12/6), the police said they would patrol the area.

The assailant was wearing a grey or black hoodie and appears to come from the area, perhaps the new housing development, a villager said. Her daughter was attacked in the same way probably by the same man a few months ago.

The offender is described as average height and slim. He presses something hot like a taser on the backs of women he approaches on the paths or roads to the village.

“A taser could render somebody helpless,” another O Tau resident said. “Repeated offending is a big worry.” The first time this happened, to a local woman’s teenaged daughter, the police either did not take it seriously or they got nowhere with their inquiries, the resident said.
