Woman and child hospitalised when car hits temporary barrier on Hiram’s Highway

This afternoon around 1:00 pm a private car crashed into a roadside temporary water barrier on Hiram’s Highway, Sai Kung.

The car turned over and the doors could not be opened. The two people in the car, a woman and child, were rescued by emergency services and sent to hospital for examination.

The front of the private car was badly damaged, the windshield burst and debris was scattered on the ground, and the barrier was smashed. The police listed the case as a traffic accident and it is still under investigation.
