Late last night armed men attacked a driver and his female passenger with knives and sticks as they were driving along Hiram’s Highway, Sai Kung close to Marina Cove. The two victims were hospitalised and police are hunting the attackers.
Around midnight last night (29/3) a 23-year-old man was driving a dark-coloured Volkswagen car along Hiram’s Highway in the direction of Marina Cove. His 21-year-old girlfriend was in the passenger seat. Suddenly they were rammed by another car and four men jumped out armed with knives and sticks. They smashed the windows of the Volkswagen and attacked the two occupants. They then fled abandoning the car used for ramming.

The male victim was badly cut with blood splashes all over his clothes. The female victim was injured in the neck.
They managed to call emergency services and an ambulance took them to Tseung Kwan O Hospital where they are said to be in stable condition.
The case was listed as wounding and has been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of Wong Tai Sin Police District to follow-up. The victim is reported to have identified his attackers.
