Three car collision on Clear Water Bay Road puts two in hospital

Early this morning three cars were involved in a collision on Clear Water Bay Road near Tseng Lan Shue. An empty red taxi was driving towards Kowloon around 5:00 am when it was hit by a private car following closely. It is thought the taxi driver moved across into the other lane.

Another empty red taxi following the private car hit its rear which then re-impacted the first taxi.

The 54-year-old driver of the first taxi and the 50-year-old of the second taxi were both slightly injured, and were taken to hospital by ambulance.

The driver and passenger of the private car also reported minor injuries,

The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
