Sai Kung real estate shop staff member injured in knife attack; one suspect caught escaping in a red minibus

A knife attack occurred at Chan Man Street in Sai Kung at 12:25 this afternoon (30/6). A man suffered multiple stab wounds to his body and was sent to hospital for treatment.

Just after noon police received a report from a male staff member of Sai Kung CWC Property Limited real estate agency in Chan Man Street, saying that while going to the toilet in the lane at the rear of ParkNShop, he was ambushed by two men and attacked with multiple knives. Afterwards, the two men fled, and one of them took a red minibus to Mong Kok. The victim was taken by an ambulance to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment.

The police classified the case as “wounding” and set up a roadblock on Clear Water Bay Road. Finally, the police stopped a minibus at Tseng Lan Shue and arrested a man suspected of being connected to the case.
