A driver had a lucky escape last night when his car swerved to avoid a “dark shadow” in front of him and crashed into the central barrier, causing significant damage to the front of the car.
The car was being driven uphill along Clear Water Bay Road, Sai Kung, at about 1:00 am today (27/3). Near Ta Kwu Ling San Tsuen the driver reported that he was surprised to see a dark shadow in front of the car. Immediately, he lost control and collided with the central barrier, causing damage to the front of the car. He was slightly injured and climbed out on his own to wait for help. Police were called to the scene and an ambulance took the injured man to hospital
