Yesterday afternoon (23/7), a burglary occurred in two units of Block A and Block B, of Clearwater Bay Apartments, 8 Ka Shue Road, Pak Shek Wo San Tsuen, Sai Kung.
Police received a report from a 59-year-old female resident of one of the units, saying that her room was raided and she suspected she had been burgled. Initially, it was determined that a batch of jewellery, and about HK$2,600 in cash had been stolen; the value of the jewellery is yet to be calculated.

During the police investigation, it was found that another unit also had traces of looting. After checking the 78-year-old male resident believed that no property had been stolen.
The case was classified as a serial burglary and was handed over to the fifth team of the Tseung Kwan O Police District Criminal Investigation Team to follow up. No arrests have been made so far.
