Car turns upside down after crash in Clear Water Bay; driver is injured but climbs out of wreck

The driver of a car travelling along Tai Au Mun Road, Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung lost control around midnight last night (23/10). The car ended upside down after hitting the mountain wall by the side of the road. Fortunately, the male driver only scratched his hands and feet, climbed out of the car and called the police.

Around 11:00 pm last night a private car was driving along Tai Au Mun Road in the direction of Kowloon. It turned right near Clear Water Bay Second Beach into Clear Water Bay Road. the driver lost control and it crashed into the hillside. It then bounced back to the opposite lane, and the whole car turned upside down. The front of the car was damaged and parts were scattered across the road. The driver suffered minor injuries to his hands and feet. Other drivers assisted the police when they arrived. The driver was conscious and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
