Starbucks Sai Kung has reopened after a month of renovation. The new décor is a big change, stylish and arty. People like to sit at the window watching the Passing Parade. A new viewing area has been opened looking on to the alley.
Food and drink displays are as enticing as ever: cheese cakes, yogurts, pies . . . If you want stay slim stay away. Better, give up and pig out.
The back wall may confuse some. It’s greenery behind ribbed glass. If you’ve had a few it may make you think you’re so sozzled you’re zonked. If sober you’ll decide you must see an eye doctor quick.
Every wall that is not a window now sports colourful art.
