Soy sauce factory worker has arm chopped in parking dispute

Yesterday morning (30/9), a 33-year-old worker at a soy sauce factory in Lung Wo Village, Clear Water Bay Road, Sai Kung was chased by a knife-wielding man while unloading goods and had his right forearm chopped leaving a 5 cm wound.

The victim was injured and fled to a gazebo to call the police.

The injured man fled to a gazebo in Tseng Lan Shue, about 50 metres away, to call the police. Police arrived at the scene to investigate and arrested a 70-year-old man. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.

It is reported that the victim had a quarrel with the villagers because the truck he was unloading was parked at an intersection and was blocking the road. Police are investigating the incident.
