Well known local animal welfare charity Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation is organising a 9km long fun run along Section 4 of the Wilson Trail on 11 December 2022. BUZZ is a supporter of SKSFF and we are glad to publicise this latest fund-raising venture.
Come and join us as we take the chance to see the breath taking scenery along this route on 11 December. Runners and walkers to start at any time between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm – latest start time should be 2:00 pm as it must be completed within 4 hours.
Starting at Tseung Kwan O, the route ascends upwards along a well trodden trail run along the mountain tops and the view of the TKO bridge can be seen. Following the route onwards to Fei Ngo Shan, the route finally descends downwards past an old disused house which remains full of character.
Finally, ending up at the kennel where your efforts will be truly rewarded as Sai Kung Stray Friends is home to 200 stray and abandoned dogs. Their tails will certainly be wagging to show their support and appreciation to you.
