Another cement lorry overturns at HKUST roundabout, driver slightly injured

Around 12:00 noon today (23/3) a cement lorry travelling along Clear Water Bay Road, Sai Kung, went out of control when it reached the roundabout near HKUST. It hit the barriers and toppled over, and was left close to falling down a two metre slope.

There were debris was scattered all over the road. The driver’s left knee was scratched in the accident and treated at the scene.

He later said that he crashed while dodging a motorcycle. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Another cement lorry overturned at the same location on 7 January this year.
