Around midnight last night (21/8), the driver of a car at the junction of Ho Chung Road and Kai Ham Road, Sai Kung, lost control and crashed into the hillside, allegedly trying to avoid a dog, and then the whole car overturned.

The driver, a passenger and a 12-year-old girl sitting in the back seat suffered minor injuries. After being treated by ambulancemen at the scene, the girl had to be sent to the hospital for treatment due to back injuries.

Since the car involved was quite light, the rescuers helped to push it upright and handed it back to the driver. As shown in the photo from the scene, the body and roof of the private car were damaged, and the windscreen had burst. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
