Around 2:00 pm this afternoon (3/12), a car was driving along Tai Mong Tsai Road lost control near Mak Pin, Sai Kung. It hit the stone wall by the side of the road, hitting the side of a passing bus, and then flipped over.
The driver and passengers of the private car later climbed out of the car on their own. They were not injured and stayed at the scene to help police investigate the cause of the accident.
The Transport Department announced that due to a traffic accident, part of the traffic lane at Tai Mong Tsai Road roundabout near Sai Sha Road is now closed. Motorists can only use the remaining traffic lanes; currently heavy traffic is building up in both directions.
