A dog with a collar was found alone on the shore of deserted Tai She Wan Village (Big Snake Bay) in Sai Kung yesterday (28/1), barking at the sea. The place was otherwise deserted. It is suspected that the dog was abandoned, or lost by someone boating in the area.. Catherine Lumsden, founder of “ Catherine ’s Puppies”, said she would try to rescue the dog by boat today.

Catherine said that the village can only be reached by boat. The caller who found the dog yesterday said that the dog kept looking at the sea and barking, and it was estimated that it might have been abandoned there by someone on a boat. Her friend had put down food and water for the dog, but said that the dog was very panicked and difficult to approach and rescue. She only hoped that the dog was lost and was not abandoned there.

She said she would take a boat to the scene today to try to rescue the dog, and called on dog owners or people who know the dog to contact her on WhatsApp 67997530.
