Three-car collision in at Mak Pin, Sai Kung, hospitalises four and causes traffic chaos

This afternoon around 3:20 pm near Mak Pin, Sai Kung at the junction of Sai Sha Road and Tai Mong Tsai Road, a light truck was travelling in the direction of Ma On Shan. A BMW car in the opposite lane was suspected to have lost control, crossed the line, and hit a taxi, and then hit the light truck.

The drivers of the truck and private car was trapped in the vehicle for a time. Four people were injured in the accident. They were all conscious and sent to hospital for treatment. 

Police are investigating the cause of the accident. Traffic was backed up for many kilometres in all directions, including Sai Kung Town, which was at a standstill for around 30 minutes.
