Five-year-old girl knocked down by minibus in Sai Kung

Around 5:00 pm yesterday (14/2), a five-year-old girl riding a scooter in Sai Kung was hit by a minibus when she strayed off the pavement and was hit by a 1A minibus travelling to Sai Kung Pier. She suffered scratches and bleeding on the back of her head and was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

It is understood that the minibus had stopped by Sai Kung Lok Yuk Kindergarten to drop off passengers, when the 54-year-old driver heard an unusual noise when he was preparing to slow down at the pedestrian crossing. When he checked, he found that a girl on a scooter hit the minibus. Witnesses said that the police later seized the scooter involved.
