Head-on crash on Tai Au Mun Road (with video)

A 17-second dashcam clip has been circulated on the Internet showing a yellow car suddenly losing control when cornering on Tai Au Mun Road in Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung. It crossed the middle line and hit a white Tesla coming in the opposite direction. The yellow car spun twice, and pieces scattered all over the place. The Tesla was pushed against a road sign and the front of the car was damaged. A bus coming from behind saw this and slowly stopped.

The incident occurred at 7:28 am yesterday (11/2). The two vehicles collided on Tai Au Mun Road near Clear Water Bay Second Beach Refuse Collection Station. The yellow car was driven by a 68-year-old man and collided with a white Tesla driven by a 33-year-old man heading toward the beach. No one was injured in the incident.
