Early yesterday morning (13/5), just after 6:00 am, police received a report that, a seven-passenger van had crashed into a detached house at No. 7, Nam Pin Wai Road, Sai Kung. The report was made by the driver who said that when he was driving along Nam Pin Wai Road he suspected that he had stepped on the accelerator by mistake instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to accelerate and crash into the house.

When the incident occurred, the owner of the house was shocked to hear a loud noise. He went downstairs to check and discovered the chaos. He took photos of the mess and uploaded them to social platforms to share. The photos show a white, electric, Maxus MIFA 9 seven-seater van half in his property, with the door smashed, a large amount of concrete peeled off, and the floor covered with rubble. A wine cabinet was seen leaning at a 45-degree angle, with several bottles of wine falling from it and either smashing onto the floor or a nearby table.

Fortunately no one was injured in the incident.
