You see them here, you see them there, you see them everywhere — the butterfly watchers of Green Power. In Sai Kung, they’ve been spotted with long-lense cameras at Pak Tam Chung, Yung Shue O Rd and in the country park. They’re surveying butterflies in a tradition led by Green Power for 20 years. The conservation group has just announced its most recent survey found 186 species of butterfly, 27 of which are very rare and 32 rare. Hong Kong has a total of 260 species of butterfly.
