Two men lose control of paraglider over Sai Kung; one hospitalised

Around 3:00 pm yesterday (23/11) police received a report that a group of six people were paragliding near Long Ke Wan when two of them were suspected of losing control and landing abruptly on the ground. One of the men was injured and it is reported that he could not move half of his body.

The Government Flying Service was called to dispatch a helicopter to the scene for rescue, and the injured man was airlifted to the Eastern District Hospital for treatment. He suffered abrasions on his hands, feet, and abdomen, but was conscious when he was sent to the hospital.
