Chinachem put 40 units at property development in Heung Chung, Sai Kung up for sale – now renamed Whitesand Cove!

Chinachem’s luxury project Whitesand Cove in Sai Kung is scheduled to kick off tender sales as early as March, with Hong Kong’s property market sentiment showing signs of improvement. The developer had previously uploaded the sales brochure of Whitesand Cove on its website and plans to open completed units soon for visitors who are interested in the project.

The location near Nam Pin Wai roundabout

BUZZ has followed the ups and downs of the site and the project for many years. The previously derelict site of approx. 3,600 sq m, near Nam Pin Wai roundabout, sold for $530 million in 2020. The original plans were for about 50 low-density and bungalow units. What we now have for sale are 40 residences comprising four towers – two of six-storeys and two of five, as well as six villas.

The site layout

Originally promoted as having seaviews, the sales blurb now states “The project is located on the bank of Ho Chung River, with river views and a distant view of Marina Cove, a landmark housing estate in the area”. Prices will be determined by tender next month.
