Developer asks Town Planning Board to allow more houses on Ho Chung development

Town Planning Board gave Emperor International permission to build an estate of 13 houses in Ho Chung, opposite Marina Cove, in late 2017. The developers are now back requesting an additional two houses.

According to documents released by TPB, the site covers an area of ​​about 70,010 square feet, including about 7,031 square feet of government land. It is currently zoned as “Residential (Group E)” and has permission for the development of western-style house projects at a plot ratio of 0.4.  Each building is 3 storeys high, including a 1-storey open parking lot.

The revamped proposals with two extra houses

The developers have requested that building height is increased from 9 metres to no more than 10.8 metres, and the number of houses increased from 13 to 15. The new total floor area is about 26,067 square feet, about the same as the approved plan.
