Millionaire’s Beach, Nam Fung Wan, Sai Kung
Around 2:00 pm today (24/7), a man was seen struggling in the water at Nam Fung Wan (Millionaire’s Beach, Sai Kung. Swimmers nearby worked together to rescue him and give first aid. Despite the rescue efforts he had lost consciousness before rescue services arrived.
The victim was then hoisted by Government Flying Service helicopter to the Eastern District Hospital for emergency treatment, but was dead on arrival.
It is understood that the deceased was 65 years old, and the police are investigating the incident.
