Early yesterday morning (16/8) a young wild boar was hit by a passing light truck on Hiram’s Highway, Sai Kung. The driver stopped and reported the incident to the police.

The 33-year-old driver of the truck was nearing the bus stop near Mang Kung Wo Road when the 2 feet long young boar suddenly rushed out into the road. The police arrived and determined the animal was dead, so they moved it onto the pavement and covered it with a black plastic bag until the relevant departments arrived at the scene to deal with the investigation.
