Law enforcement agencies conducted an operation against driving while licence was suspended in East Kowloon on Monday (29/1) and intercepted a number of suspicious vehicles. One car they intercepted and inspected was a blue Porsche driving in the direction of Kowloon on Hiram’s Highway, Sai Kung. After preliminary investigation the 43-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of “speeding”, “driving while licence suspended” and “driving without third-party insurance”.
His 38-year-old female passenger was the owner of the car. She was also arrested on suspicion of “allowing others to drive without a licence” and “allowing others to drive without third-party insurance.” Both arrested persons were released on bail pending further investigation and are required to report to the police in late February.
