A residential site in Ho Chung, Sai Kung, held by a consortium, applied to the Town Planning Board last year for the construction of eight three-storey low-density residential buildings – Application No. Y/SK-HC/6. The Planning Department has recently received no objection in principle. The Town Planning Board will hold a meeting on Friday 2 August to review the proposal and it is expected to give the “green light” to pass it.
According to documents from the Town Planning Board, the project is located at Lots 210 and 244 of the Sai Kung Ho Chung Demarcation Area and adjoining government land, which is located opposite the former Asia Television studio. The area currently classified as “Residential (Category D)”, “Residential (Category E)” and “Road” is applied for rezoning to “Residential (Category C) 3” zone, and the land use zone applicable to the application location is revised. ‘s “Notes”.
The project with a total buildable floor area of approximately 25,758 square feet consists of two lots located on both sides of Ho Chung North Road. The site area is approximately 34,337 sq.ft., including 6,523 sq.ft. of government land. It is developed with a plot ratio of 0.75 times to build eight low-density residential buildings with a height of no more than three storeys, including a parking space on the first floor, involve a total buildable floor area of approximately 25,758 sq.ft. In addition, the project has 16 parking spaces, including eight parking spaces for private cars and eight parking spaces for disabled people, as well as one loading and unloading space for passenger trucks.
