Collision between car and motorcycle at the Nam Pin Wai roundabout, Sai Kung injures two and causes heavy traffic congestion

A traffic accident occurred in Sai Kung just before 8:00 am this morning (22/10). A car and a motorcycle collided on Hiram’s Highway near Nam Pin Wai roundabout. The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were both injured, and were seen lying on the ground waiting for rescue. After they regained consciousness, they were taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

No one in the car was injured, and the driver was present to help investigate the cause of the accident, with some observers saying that they saw the car change lanes without indicating.

Traffic along Hiram’s Highway was affected by the accident, with the Transport Department stating that some of the traffic lanes at the roundabout connecting Hiram’s Highway and Nam Pin Wai Road are now closed.
