Bus and taxi collide in Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung; three people were injured and sent to hospital

At about 11:00 am this morning (26/12), a KMB collided with a taxi on Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung, near the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Jockey Club Sai Kung Outdoor Training Camp. The male bus driver, male taxi driver and female passenger suffered minor injuries and were sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital after treatment.

As can be seen on photos from the Internet, the right side of the taxi’s body was seriously damaged. It also looks like the the taxi had crosses into the opposite traffic lane, as the front was severely damaged, and the windshield badly damaged, with the right front of the bus slightly damaged.

The Transport Department stated that due to the traffic accident, a one-way traffic arrangement had been implemented on Tai Mong Tsai Road , with heavy traffic at the site.
