Sai Kung has a new Curry Maestro! Tim Norton came first in the Curry Cook-off organised by Dolly Franscisco at The Boozer on Saturday. Here’s what she has to say:
Thank you for the competitors and the people who came to support us! The food was all so amazing! It may have been a low turn out but I have never felt so loved and supported! Up to date, we have enough money to pay for 8 boxes to the Philippines! (We have 16 to send)
Tim made the most amazing lamb curry using Szechuan peppers. Second Prize went to Bernie Harrad for his chicken curry and curry leaves chutney. Third Prize went to Becks Becks of The Village Restaurant – they have the most amazing vegetable curry!
