If you like to get down and “do da limbo” and groove like a griot get along to the Tikitiki Bowling Bar any Saturday during November. The spectacular nightclub will be rocking to heavy rhythms and melodic harmony during its dinner show CRAZY CALYPSO NIGHTS AND CARIBBEAN BUFFET.  It’s just $299 for adults to enjoy four hours of non-stop entertainment and an all-you-can-eat five-star buffet.

Harry Belafonte popularised this song with his 1950s album, “Calypso”.  On Saturday you can hear Frankie Hollywood and the Tiki Birds belting out the famous rollicking tune through the nightclub’s wall-to wall sound system and synchronised video screens. You will be able to admire the high-stepping girls of the Tikitiki Dancing Troupe in their feathers and sequins. It will be HOT HOT HOT!

Calypso music can be traced back to the 17th century. African slaves brought it with them to the Caribbean where it was influenced by French creole music.  The slaves used the songs to mock their masters and communicate with each other.

The Tikitiki’s CRAZY CALYPSO NIGHTS dinner show will be staged on Saturdays 10, 17 and 24 November starting from 6:00 pm and grooving until 10:00 pm. There will be two seatings for dinner and show at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. It is necessary to book early, as the show has set times and Tikitiki like to get the buffet seating coordinated so the guests can enjoy the event in its entirety.

The bowling bar-nightclub has a large in-house entertainment team who will perform in a non-stop show, juggling, clowning and doing magic tricks to amuse all the family while you eat as much as you like from five-star Chef Peter Lim’s buffet tables. And you can bowl, up to six people at a time on any one of the 10 ten-pin bowling lanes. There will be competitions to see who is the best limbo dancer and hula-hoop twirler.
