The second Sai Kung Buzz Concert for the Animals may be able to raise about $250,000 for five charities and volunteer groups, one of the organisers, Roger Medcalf, said. This is because the host Tikitiki Bowling Bar is so large, its owners are generous animal lovers, and 1500 tickets are being printed.  The organisations benefiting from the Concert on 30 November are Narelle Pamuk’s Sai Kung Stray Friends, Catherine Lumsden’s Catherine’s Puppies, Emily Allington’s Hong Kong Cats, Debbie Chow’s Home Dog Home and Sai Kung – Lost Found Injured Animals set up by Carol Biddell and others.

The Tikitiki Bowling Bar, a world-class nightclub, has a capacity of 800, General Manager – Operations said. If all of the tickets are sold, people will not come at once, but will come and go throughout the dinner show from 5:00 to 11:00 pm. Some will buy tickets, but not attend, simply to support the cats and dogs that will benefit. Sixty per cent of the ticket sales money* will go to the charities because of the Tikitiki’s generosity.

The key to raising as much as $50,000 for each charity is ticket selling, Roger said. The tickets will be widely available soon and institutions such as Resurrection Church and HK Academy have come forward in support. Schools, businesses and institutions that would like to back the animals concert by ticket selling and promotion may contact mail@hongkongbuzz.com  Tickets are $250 for adults and $100 for kids. They entitle holders to two standard drinks and a canapes selection. Children three and under free.
